The quality of this cup of coffee comes from nostalgia lent to you for a time while sitting around a blazing campfire.
1. Add water to your pot, place down in coals or close to fire, bring to boil. Once the water is boiling remove from heat and let set for 30 seconds, this will lower the water temp to 200 degrees which is perfect for coffee.
2. Add 2 tablespoons of finely ground coffee for every 8oz of water and stir. Then let is sit for 2 minutes, stir again and let is sit again.
3. After a total of 4 minutes of brewing sprinkle a little cold water on the grounds. Yes, this actually does help them settle to the bottom.
4. Slowly pour the coffee so the grounds remain on the bottom of the pot. Enjoy!
Why We Love It
